Sharing information quickly

SHARING INFORMATION QUICKLY

Social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter contribute significantly to users wanting to share information to others quickly and easily. The fact that information can be shared in under 30 seconds and free of charge fits in completely with the modern, technologically advanced society that we all live in; the convenience and accessibility of these sites on smart phones create an even quicker platform to sharing news and information with peers.

  1. A really huge factor of the quick information sharing is the fact social media websites have introduce instant messaging as technology as increased over the years so this is actually having a conversation if you are both online which is the fastest way to share information.

  2. What you have said makes sense. However, emailing is also a way to share information quickly, and can be seen as more reliable as it has better security measures. Although people may not check their emails as often as Facebook, but the emails are perhaps simpler to use, which allows it to share information fairly quickly.

  3. Also the use of YouTube/video sharing is important too because people can use this to display adverts and even projects so that others can see it, and give feedback on these things, also news reports with videos can be a lot more informative than just a news report.

  4. From the comments I can gather that social media sites use instant messenger allowing users to talk to each other all over the world within seconds. however, despite the convenience and accessibility of social media sites, emails are still a widely used technique for contacting others due to the better security measures that it has in place.
